Time spent on the server: Used to be 2-8 hours everyday, but recently due to lack of population I have not been getting on as much. I play Jujek and Whardhawk if that helps.
OOC Reason for applying: Well I tried making a IG droid a couple weeks ago but was told it was banned and then it got added the applicable species list but I wasn't really feeling it anymore. However, with the recent resurgence of droids, I have felt inspired again to pursue my dreams of being a IG-86 Sentinel droid for the unique RP quality of being a non-organic.

Character Backstory (must include how character finds the group):
[b]IG-424 started his existence like any other IG-86 Sentinel Droid, being manufactured in a Holowan Mechanical lab on the planet of Halowan in the year 21 BBY. He was given the standard nuts and bolts (literally) of his line. He was given masculine programming suited for a variety of combat tasks from bodyguarding to assassination. This programming allowed for quicker and more intelligent analysis of situations, along with swift decision making. He was quickly shipped to a market on the planet of Nar Shaddaa. Bought by a Sullustan smuggler named Gosh Let for the purpose of protecting him and his YT-1000 as a bodyguard. Things continued as normal as a life for a droid could be. Gosh Let continued to wipe the droid’s memory every 4 months as instructed by Halowan Industries until Let had a continuing problem with some Nikto pirates. IG-424 was able to reflect their boarding party the first time at the end of the 4 month cycle but when the pirates returned shortly after a memory wipe, IG-424 was unable to defeat them becoming heavily damaged and Let losing his cargo of weapons for Separatist cells and thus a lot of money. Let realized that if he wanted the most combat effective droid he would have to refrain from wiping IG-424’s memory. He took IG-424 to a contact of his that worked with various droids to have some personality checks and changes to ensure that IG-424 would not go rogue without the memory wipes. From here on IG-424 was not given memory changes, and the droid would begin to develop a personality picking up many traits from his master such as his dry humor, self-preservation and above all drive for credits. IG-424 and Gosh Let would continue their weapon smuggling endeavors until the end of the Clone Wars and the Birth of the Empire. At this point, their cargo changed to smuggling spice for various criminal factions. But shortly after the Battle of Yavin they would be boarded by a massive group of pirates, one that they could neither escape nor defend against. Gosh Let was killed while defending his ship. IG-424 was heavily damaged and after seeing his master die, decided to temporarily shut down as a sort of play dead maneuver as to not suffer his master’s fate. IG-424 rebooted to his heavily damaged chassis, the corpse of his master, and their cargo completely looted but no remaining pirates. While damaged the ship was still intact and IG-424 decided that he must head to Tatooine to pursue repairs for himself. On Tatooine he buried his master rather unceremoniously in the sand. Then he sold the YT-1000 to obtain enough credits for the repairs he desperately needed. He went back to the mechanic who so long ago had edited his personality core slightly and was able to pay for his repairs coming out almost as good as new. Now without a master or purpose, the droid decided to turn to what he knew best, combat, to make his money. This would come by becoming a bounty hunter and mercenary. He took odd jobs here and there on Tatooine but soon realized the competition for bounty hunting and mercenary gigs was too much there, and began searching for alternatives. Soon he heard tell of another planet with a city mainly filled with mercenaries like himself and ripe with work on Cyrkon. With his weaponry, programming as a assassin droid, and experience from the past 24 years of no memory wipes, he bought his way onto a cargo ship heading for Pike’s Run to better his credit income.
