<> Give us a reason to consider your application. As it stands, the server’s experiencing a bit of a lack of staff and Gamemasters. While ‘quality over quantity’ is a term for a good reason, it doesn’t hurt to have more people in helpful positions.
<> Describe Yourself: I typically place quality of roleplay above everything else. My perception of roleplay, however, seems to be a bit different from what this particular server is basing itself off of. While Limitless seems to have more of a D&D-esque bent with its roll bonuses and focus on equipment, I’m much more ‘traditional’, for lack of a better word. Lengthy, detailed responses and such are the rule for me, not the exception.    As one would expect, I behave professionally - to an extent, of course. Simply put; I keep messing around to a minimum, especially during - but certainly not limited to - events and other key roleplay moments. Trust me, from the roleplay background I come from, even a minor goof was grounds for a kick.
<> Why do you wish to become a gamemaster? I’d like to attempt to provide some sort of decent, regular series of events - passive or otherwise. Both to allow the players on the server to be included in some enjoyable and meaningful roleplay, and to ease the pressure on the current few Gamemasters.
<> How important is the gamemaster rank to you and the server? Important enough to necessitate me spending time on this application. I’m not about to rage against the machine if I’m denied, obviously. However, becoming a Gamemaster could very well allow me to aid in the continued longevity of the server, which seems like an important cause. To me, at least. Roleplay is the heart and soul of a roleplay server. It may sound ridiculous to say what seems so obvious, but sometimes people forget this...
<> Gamemasters are not considered staff, what is your opinion to or against it? It seems entirely reasonable, so I highly doubt it will end up being a problem.
<> Create a format of your own passive rp event and an off planet/ NPC spawned events. 

(The following is a format and an example for a passive-event. The off-planet event has been sent to the appropriate individuals.) Map(s) used: N/A (rp_starwars) Synopsis/Story Structure:  A smuggler by the name of Mai Tooai has stumbled across a special Gladiator droid model. Unfortunately, by ‘stumbled across’, one means ‘stolen’. However, this only further fuels his pride of the gain. As such, he lands on Carnovia, a planet out of the way enough for him to celebrate with some drinks and joy.
           As it turns out, however, the Gladiator droid has an in-built protocol that allows it to self-activate if it goes too long without the proper codes being relayed to it. Doubly unfortunately, it’s a particularly savage and low-intelligence personality for a Gladiator droid, and seems to have little care for what stands between it and its perceived ‘opponent’... 

Likely Outcomes:  

  1. Gladiator droid is eliminated.

    1. Mai gives participants a small sum of credits, dependent on how many participated. Likely around 500 - 1,500.

  2. Mai is ‘thrown to the wolves’.

    1. Gladiator droid malfunctions after ‘revenge protocol’ is completed, its machinery becoming burnt out, causing it to be nothing more than a pile of scrap. (Raw materials lootable)


 Event Structure:  To begin with, type /event1. Have Mai either move to the Hunters Rest or the Entropy, whichever is more populated. Allow some Passive RP to commence. Refer to ‘Notes’ for information on his personality. Suffice to say, he’s a boisterous, attention-craving individual.
      After some time of this simple roleplay, type /event2. Have whomever is piloting the droid character head to the location that Mai is currently at, though advise them to not actually enter the building. Instead, have Mai exit the building to see what’s going on. He isn’t the most courageous of individuals, so have him offer anyone credits (amount depends on the number of people on the server) if they can take down the Gladiator droid that is attempting to kill him. Then, preferably, have him hide.
     Combat should ensue with any individuals interested in participating. There should be virtually no likelihood of PKs, though the typical chance of injury. 

Event Prep:

Create two event characters (preferably piloted by GMs) with the following specifications: 

Mai Tooai 
Duros | Male | 5’10 | Bald | Light blue skin tone | Dull orange eyes | Likely about thirty years of age | Wearing a basic brown padded flight suit (+10 Defense), with an attached respirator | Slightly damaged DL-18 on his hip | +25 Piloting, +10

Engineering GL-229 ‘Entertainment’ Bot 
A bulky droid with a cylindrical black chassis, walking around on four legs that hardly seem to support its weight. It has a cluster of pink lenses on what is apparently the front of it, acting as its eyes.  While its plating seems sturdy, the back half of it seems damaged and generally weaker. (+35 Defense, reduced to +5 while behind it) | Stands at about 8’3 | Two arms, able to be rotated 360 degrees around its body. Instead of hands, it has two large ‘fists’ of metal, sparking with blue electricity. (+30 CQC) | +30 Strength 

Premade /events:  

  1. /event An unassuming YT-1150 freighter flew in from the South, its typical rather lackluster weaponry seemingly uninstalled, giving it very minimal offensive capabilities. It didn’t seem damaged by any means; a rare occurrence on Carnovia, it seemed. However, none would recognize it as a vessel that frequented Carnovia, nor could any know who flew it. Not that really should… Regardless, its lone passenger moved down the ramp even before it was fully extended, a hop in his step. Apparently, he was quite happy.
  2. /event Without any warning, a loud explosion is heard from the landing area, the sound echoing through the streets outside. The sound of metal being torn apart followed, along with the thumping, scraping of mechanical movement apparatuses. Any near the hangar area would see the frightening image of a bulky, quadrupedal droid tearing its way out of the cargo hold of the YT-1150 on the platform, immediately dashing towards the entrance to the sitting with evident purpose. A resonant mechanical voice is emitted. *”Revenge protocols engaged.”*

 Notes:  Mai Tooai is a boisterous, happy individual - especially after such a haul. This will make him inclined to drink, and perhaps even buy complete strangers a couple rounds of alcohol due to his friendly mood. The GL-229 ‘Entertainment’ Bot is a modified Gladiator droid. As such, it is impossible for it to willingly attack bystanders, unless they either attack it or remain in its way. Any onlookers are safe, as one would expect from such a droid. It possesses no ranged weapons whatsoever to further minimize the chances of collateral damage to observers. 

<> Past Experiences? I’ve no experiences as a Gamemaster or any sort of comparable role on a Gmod SeriousRP server.
<>  Any issues with any rules or regulations or any suggestions? None that I can efficiently articulate in an application, nor any that immediately spring to mind.

I believe the Cthulu is one of the most, if not the most capable role player on our server to yield this position. She pushes a positive role-play environment every day, and never fails to give actions to the exact detail, I am currently unaware of her lore knowledge, but she would for sure be a capable addition to the Gamemaster team.

I have seen Cthulu on the server providing extensive Roleplay for himself and other players, I appreciate the time he puts into the RP he does and I am excited to see if he becomes a GM for the Staff Team.  +1
